About the role:
Enphase is currently seeking a Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Regional Sales Manager (Central US) to call on installers that primarily sell commercial. The position will closely collaborate with the Residential Regional Sales Managers and C&I FAEs, Product Group, Trainers, Field Marketing Specialists and Customer Service. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving C&I revenue and servicing partners and end-customers. The ideal candidate has small commercial solar sales experience and a unique blend of business, technical, and leadership skills. S/he will establish plans and strategies to expand the regional C&I business including the go to market for the IQ8P-3Phase to serve the existing customer business and grow a new customer base. The position is a remote, home office position.
What you will do
Identify, convert and serve C&I installers in the Central Region
Develop and execute small commercial go to market plans including using segmentation, primary target market definition and value proposition to create target lists
Collaborate with and coach existing residential teams in developing and closing small commercial projects and sharing best practices
Create and execute 6 quarter forecasts and reports weekly and monthly on sales and opportunities status
Partner with C&I training and Field marketing to deploy C&I trainings and events
Align with FAE & Customer Service to represent the voice of the customer to develop the right products for Americas C&I
Who you are and what you bring
Successful track record of C&I solar sales to installers
Proven ability to gain a price premium through consultative selling
Possess a minimum of 5 years C&I sales experience to channel partners
Demonstrably strong negotiation and influencing skills; commercially astute.
Entrepreneurial personality with a hands-on attitude.
Demonstrates strategic vision and planning capabilities.
Understands, with clarity, key internal/external business and technical issues
Quantitative and results driven professional who can adapt to rapidly changing environments
Salesforce experience a plus
This is a remote position with 30-50% travel
The pay range for this position is on-target earnings $120,000 to $178,200 per year, dependent on candidate location. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for equity, and benefits.
