Job description

Job Title: Sitecore Developer

Locations: San Francisco Bay Area – 100% remote

Duration: Long Term

Description:

The role of a Sitecore Developer involves developing and maintaining Sitecore-based web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, and ensuring quality code delivery through automated deployments and rigorous testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Sitecore CMS, proficiency in C#/MVC/.NET, and a strong understanding of related tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain Sitecore-based web applications.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

· Implement automated deployments using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Octopus Deploy.

· Create and deploy medium/high complexity layouts and components using C#/MVC/.NET.

· Collaborate with project team to manage and document database designs, stored procedures, and API integrations.

· Support the Deliverable Expectation Document (DED) and Deliverable Verification (DLV) processes for monthly accountability

· Continuously update documentation and knowledge transfer materials to reflect system changes.

· Develop WebAPI services and client-side JavaScript for interactive pages.

· Enhance Sitecore functionality through custom pipeline processors.

· Design and implement templates and layouts from requirements, designs, and wireframes.

· Optimize performance for improved scalability and user experience.

· Ensure quality code delivery through code reviews and testing.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· 5+ years of hands-on experience in Sitecore CMS.

· Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Server.

· Experience with Sitecore XP, including at least one project on version 9.

· Knowledge of Helix architecture, Solr, Coveo, and Git version control.

· Sitecore certification is a plus.

· Strong understanding of Sitecore tools like Sitecore Rocks, TDS, Unicorn, and GlassMapper.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
