Position Overview:
The Product Manager – Elite Nurse Practitioner (“ENP”) will be responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, and management of our ENP product portfolio. This individual will drive product innovation, align product development with the company's mission to "unleash human potential," and ensure that offerings meet both learner needs and business goals. As a key leader, they will collaborate across multiple departments, manage a team of product managers, and ensure the successful execution of the product line’s strategy, enhancing the company's market position and driving revenue growth. This role is not expected to have direct report responsibilities, but it is an opportunity for growth and development. 

What You'll Do
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the ENP product line, creating TAM expansion opportunities and ensuring alignment with the company’s goals, market trends, and learner needs. 
  • Develop product roadmap that will deliver world-class learning experiences and market share growth within current ENP customer segments and critically expanded across younger clinicians in and out of the Nurse Practitioner profession through offering expansion to include new broadly applicable concepts of “passive revenue generation.” 
  • Determine topic themes and strategy for conferences, membership, CE offerings, and a portfolio of webinars, podcasts, and other content obligations 
  • ENP Portfolio Management: Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to sunset, ensuring a robust pipeline of innovative and high-quality products that maintain the company’s competitive edge and required financial margins. 
  • ENP SME Management: Oversee the restructuring of our SME relationships from purely content generation and community/customer support to incentivized community generation leveraging their established networks and personal ENP brand authority to drive new customer acquisition. 
  • Accountability to track, report, and drive key product performance metrics across product, marketing, sales, and support teams. 
  • Analyze various product inputs, customer requirements, designing solution architectures and developing the business case for new product development. 
  • Understand and interpret business requirements in tandem with the product technology team to create use-cases and user interface wireframes, and to determine internal and external system requirements. 
  • Organize market research including analyzing customer segments, reviewing industry research reports, and assessing strengths and weaknesses of competitors. 
  • Study Nurse Practitioner industry standards and staying up-to-date on industry changes and compliance issues requirements. 
  • Innovation & Growth: Drive innovation within the product line, identifying emerging trends in professional education, learning technologies, and modern social platforms to shape the future of the product offerings. 
  • Gather inspiration and ideas by visiting/contacting customers regularly to identify needs, prioritize future direction, and discuss feedback with competitive offerings.  
  • Collect direct customer feedback by organizing user tests, studying customer support incidents, administering user surveys, and engaging with ENP members, customers, and prospects during onsite events, like conferences.  
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, technology, content development, and customer support to bring together divergent ideas and convince various stakeholders to rally behind a single product vision. 
  • Work with our Nurse Practitioner Product Management Lead to manage the product roadmap, maintaining the feature backlog, and coordinating releases. 
  • Communicate product and roadmap updates across Colibri. 
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned. 

  • What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field is required; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
  • Minimum Five (5) years of product management experience in advanced professional development markets or five (5) years in a leadership role within the Nurse Practitioner education or learning industry. 
  • Proven track record of developing and managing large, complex product portfolios with demonstrated financial success. 
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing relationships with senior stakeholders. 
  • Experience with building and managing SME relationships. 
  • Realtime experience on a team that has designed and built customer-facing products – preferably in the continuing education space. 
  • Deep understanding of the professional learning landscape, including trends in certifications, instructional design, and digital education platforms. 
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to innovation and product development. 
  • Demonstratable history of bringing products to market and driving business growth. 
  • Ability to break complex long-term projects into a stepped phase approach. 
  • Leverage of social platforms for community management and extended engagement.
  • Developing and maintaining a product roadmap of prioritized customer benefits. 
  • Attention to detail; extraordinary eye for usability and the customer experience. 
  • Ability to prioritize execution and know how to get the job done. 
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to succinctly convey complex ideas through the written word. 
  • Great people skills; able to facilitate, negotiate and persuade stakeholders. 
  • Flexible and agile; able to rapidly adapt to changing situations and inputs. 
  • You are a self-starter able to collaborate on the strategy, direction, and initial considerations, but then operate independently and effectively with minimal management oversight. 
  • Travel as needed for conferences and team offsite meetings. 
  • Successfully worked in a matrix shared service operating model.
  • Business acumen with the ability to manage P&L and drive profitability while balancing product innovation. 
  • Familiarity and experience working with product design frameworks (e.g. Design Canvas).
