Job description

We are looking for a passionate Chief Architect to drive our product forward and help deliver highly valuable, safe and secure software to our customers. You will be a key member of our Platform Development team, and will be responsible for technical and architectural specifications, creating and maintaining code review guidelines, and coding prototypes and complex requirements. You will work closely with the platform developers to mentor and provide feedback in accordance to Sparkrock product standards. You will also work with your peers across other Sparkrock departments as the product technical expert.

Responsibilities

*Evaluate technical designs to ensure they fit product standards
*Evaluate and suggest new technologies and platforms for the product
*Define technical and coding standards
*Define and participate in code reviews
*Code complex solutions and prototypes
*Define and manage the product release process
*Document application architecture
*Deliver deep dives to solve complex problems
*Develop and execute ITDs
*Mentor and educate developers
*Interact with other teams as the platform technical expert

Requirements

*Diploma in Computer Science or a relevant field
*10+ years experience in .NET development
*5+ years experience in full stack development
*Hands-on experience implementing unit/integration tests in both backend and frontend
*Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
*Proven track record of creating and managing strong product-driven standards
*Strong English communications (oral and written)
*Quality mindset and detail-oriented

Nice to have

*DevOps experience
*Experience with ERP product development
*Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technology-related field
*Previous experience in Remote jobs
