Title: Director, Client Services
Location: Remote, USA + Travel

Director, Client Services

Overview:

The Director, Client Services, is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving profitable sales within their assigned client portfolio. This leader will define and implement the account growth strategy, cultivate strong relationships with key senior executive stakeholders, and consistently deliver robust sales results. The role requires the ability to manage complex situations, effectively balance the needs of all stakeholders, and build high-performing teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, encompassing both direct reports and cross-functional support teams.
  • May lead a team of individual contributors, with responsibilities including team building, hiring, performance management, career coaching, and recruitment.
  • Represent Vice Presidents in executive-level meetings, confidently recommending and making executive-level decisions.

Establish and Drive Account Growth Strategy:

  • Develop and champion innovative go-to-market and account growth strategies, along with associated key initiatives, to maximize profitability and meet or exceed established financial and growth targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities aligned with the partner's strategic direction and vision.
  • Lead the sell-in, execution, and successful launch of emerging products and solutions.
  • Adopt a strategic, enterprise-wide perspective, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of Asurion's business strategy, products, and development to guide growth initiatives. This includes defining the opportunity, overall value, and determining resource allocation.
  • Influence and collaborate with product and solutions teams to develop and drive key strategies that align Asurion's offerings with our partners' strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with peers across client teams to promote best practices and ensure consistent, high-quality, and repeatable performance, including the continuous improvement of the sales process.
  • Proactively secure multi-year agreement renewals with favorable terms.

Build Strong, Influential Client Relationships and Drive Program Prioritization:

  • Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with partner executives and leadership.
  • Ensure alignment of objectives and product prioritization with the partner, providing education, training, and other support to facilitate the successful implementation of Asurion solutions.
  • Serve as an internal and external functional expert for peers and senior executives across various internal and external functions.
  • Lead the strategy and collaborate with cross-functional support teams in the delivery of quarterly and annual business reviews with partner leadership.

Drive Meaningful Growth:

  • Partner with the Director of Growth to establish the direction, strategy, and growth targets for the Regional Account Management team.
  • Facilitate effective partnerships with cross-functional departments, including Client Solutions, Channel Analytics, Finance, Program Management, and Marketing, to drive growth strategies across all channels.
  • Meet or exceed established sales result goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 10 or more years of experience in partner/client relationship management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong selling, relationship management, and consultation skills.
  • Proven track record of driving meaningful results.
  • Ability to respond effectively to partners, employees, and management, and to handle sensitive and/or confidential communications with discretion.
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, is required.
  • Ability to apply analytical concepts to create reports and financial records and present them effectively.
