Job Summary This position is responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting related to human capital activities. This role requires a strong understanding of both finance and human resources functions. The individual will support decision-making processes by analyzing compensation, benefits and workforce trends. The ideal candidate will collaborate with HR, Finance, and senior leadership teams to drive financial strategy and ensure the organization’s workforce is effectively managed from a financial perspective.
What you will do
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and management of annual headcount and payroll budgets, including compensation, benefits and capitalization of labor.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Analyze human capital costs, such as labor costs, employee benefits, and other HR-related expenses. Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
Cost Optimization: Identify areas for cost savings within HR programs, compensation structures, benefits plans, and workforce management practices.
Workforce Planning: Analyze workforce trends, turnover, and headcount metrics to provide data-driven insights for HR and finance teams to make informed decisions regarding staffing levels and labor costs.
Compensation & Benefits Analysis: Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis of compensation and benefits packages. Track and analyze salary benchmarks and trends in the industry. Reporting and analysis also includes:

Data Management & Reporting Tools: Maintain and update Finance and HR data systems, ensuring data accuracy for financial reporting and analysis. Prepare and utilize financial modeling tools to forecast future human capital expenditures.
Collaboration: Work closely with commercial and functional leadership to provide financial insights that align with organizational goals, such as talent acquisition, retention, and development.
Capitalization of Labor: Understanding of capitalization and amortization of Software Development labor.
Ad hoc Analysis: Perform special projects and ad hoc analysis related to HR financials as requested by senior leadership.

Qualifications
Must have:
Typically 8 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on human capital or HR Related functions. Prior experience in finance or HR departments is preferred
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and financial software.
Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Financial Acumen: Ability to understand, analyze, and report on financial data related to HR and human capital.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to conduct complex analysis and draw actionable insights from data.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leadership.

The posted range for this position is $97,909 - $142,785 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a target bonus not reflected in the posted range.
