This is a remote position.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 12:00PM Baltimore, MD Time (can be flexible within the client's business hours of operation)
Number of working hours per week: 20 hours

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our client's team. This role requires expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance, with advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, pivot tables, and Excel. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial regulations

Develop and maintain financial databases, accounting software systems, and manual filing processes

Prepare and analyze budgets, comparing actual costs to projected figures

Assess business operations, trends, revenues, and costs to forecast future financial performance

Provide strategic financial recommendations to management based on in-depth financial analysis

Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and proper documentation

Collaborate with management teams to deliver data-driven financial insights

Stay updated on evolving financial and tax regulations to ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Requirements

Knowledgeable on QuickBooks
