Adobe Design is seeking a Senior Designer with passion and expertise in video creation/editing to join Firefly and help us build the best GenAI video tools for creativity. As a member of our team, you play an essential role in designing comprehensive experiences to transform the future of audio and video creation and storytelling beyond the traditional set of Adobe tools. Because what we do involves many partner teams, we need someone who is motivated by collaboration and driving progress toward the best solutions through leadership and innovation.
Quickly visualize and prototype ideas to communicate concepts while using and expanding a design system.
Find opportunities to create simplicity out of complexity. Make a plan and take action in ambiguous circumstances.
Communicate clear strategy and vision in a relatable, inspirational, and simple way to understand.
Reach out and listen to the creative community, reading between the lines to connect friction points to experience solutions
Explore design ideas via sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. Use feedback and research to refine and iterate toward product objectives. Pair strong communication skills with a user-centered perspective in order to influence and persuade.
Dig in with prototypers, engineers and researchers to understand the capabilities of new and developing technologies to match user needs.
Work with senior leaders product managers, engineering scientists, and partners across the company to bring new features to life.
Proactively collaborate across multiple teams to align on strategy and extend design patterns.
Must-haves:
Proven experience and/or training in design or a related field
A background in video, animation & audio tools and the community surrounding that space
College degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or related design field
Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and other design tools such as Keynote, Sketch, or Figma
Ability to build functional prototypes to test with users and or work closely with prototypers
Experience working closely and iteratively with engineering teams to bring the vision to life
Very strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and storytelling skills
Willingness and ability to be a part of the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team
Excellent design craft and the ability to blend that with strong intuition for business
A real passion for collaborating across many subject areas and teams
Nice-to-haves:
Prior experience crafting products for the video, animation and audio space and/or GenAI, platform experiences, and/or systems
Deep knowledge around and passion for accessible and inclusive design

The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,000 -- $227,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
