About Lark

At Lark Health, we’re leading the way into a new era of cardiometabolic care, leveraging advanced AI techniques–including deterministic and generative models–to provide scalable, affordable, and compassionate care. We help our healthcare partners manage over 30 million lives and prevent conditions like obesity, hypertension, type II diabetes, and behavioral health. Our platform delivers real-time personalized counseling and health monitoring for each patient. By providing compelling and actionable insights, we empower every user to live happier, healthier lives. Come join our team!

The Role

As the Lead Data Analyst at Lark, you’ll be the driving force behind our reporting transformation. Reporting directly to the Director of Data Science, you’ll own the redesign of internal and client-facing dashboards while laying the groundwork for advanced analytics and AI-driven insights. You’ll collaborate across the organization—Product, Clinical, Finance, and more—to translate business requirements into powerful, scalable data solutions. If you’re excited about pioneering AI-enhanced reporting in healthcare, we’d love to have you on our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Reporting Redesign: Own the migration to Tableau, designing intuitive, high-impact dashboards and crafting a robust BI strategy
  • Manage Client Billing Data: Build and maintain “presentation-layer” data structures in dbt/Snowflake and generate CSV flat files for invoicing and billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Champion Data Quality: Enforce validation checks, documentation standards, and consistent metrics to maintain trustworthy and regulatory-compliant insights
  • Enable Self-Service Analytics: Develop user-friendly dashboards and data access processes so stakeholders can quickly find answers without heavy technical support
  • Mentor Junior Analysts: Provide guidance on analytics best practices, helping them grow their technical and project management skills
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product, Clinical, Finance, and other stakeholders to capture data needs and turn them into scalable solutions
  • Partner with Data Engineering & Data Science: Optimize and align data models in Snowflake, and explore ways to implement AI/ML features in future reporting initiatives
  • Present Insights: Transform complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders, driving data-informed decision-making

What You’ll Need

  • Must-Have Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, dbt, Snowflake, and Tableau—these are core to the role
  • Data Architecture Know-How: Comfortable designing and maintaining presentation-layer data structures that feed internal and external reporting needs
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to translate open-ended business questions into defined problem statements and structured analyses
  • AI/ML Awareness: Familiarity with basic data science concepts, laying the groundwork for future AI-centric reporting solutions
  • Effective Communication: Skilled at simplifying technical details for diverse audiences and translating insights into strategic actions
  • Team Leadership: Experience mentoring or managing analysts, fostering a supportive, growth-oriented environment
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities, set realistic timelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Data Governance Commitment: Track record of implementing best practices for data validation, documentation, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
