Position Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

Myriad Genetics seeks a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Revenue Cycle to lead our end-to-end revenue cycle management. This role is critical in optimizing the financial health of the organization, driving revenue growth, ensuring compliance, and enhancing patient and client satisfaction. The VP of Revenue Cycle will collaborate across functions, leveraging technology and data insights to create innovative solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue cycle strategy aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient access, billing, collections, and denials management, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and payer guidelines while implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Technology and Innovation: Identify and implement advanced technologies to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance user experience.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Partner with clinical, financial, and operational leaders to align revenue cycle practices with Myriad's broader business objectives.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize analytics to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and inform decision-making.
  • Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing revenue cycle team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and revenue recognition. Prior close collaboration with finance partners critical.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in revenue cycle management within the healthcare or biotech industry.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale revenue cycle operations, including working with commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Expertise in leveraging technology, such as EHRs, billing platforms, and analytics tools, to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, coding standards, and payer relationships.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Intellectual flexibility.
