Description
Ensure seamless financial compliance with Swiss GAAP, IFRS, EU VAT, OECD transfer pricing, and local tax laws, safeguarding the company's regulatory standing
Navigate complex cross-border finance, overseeing audits, filings, and reporting to keep multinational operations fully compliant
Deliver impactful financial insights, providing in-depth analyses that drive strategic decisions and business growth
Stay ahead of regulatory shifts, proactively adapting financial policies to ensure compliance and optimize fiscal performance
Collaborate across borders, working with international teams to align financial strategies and swiftly resolve discrepancies
Drive digital finance transformation, leading ERP system integrations (SAP, Abacus) and partnering with IT to enhance automation and data analytics
Lead with a startup mindset, spearheading cost-saving initiatives, optimizing cash flow, and streamlining processes to maximize efficiency
Regular travel to the various company locations within Europe
Profile
Successfully completes bachelor's or master's degrees in finance, Accounting, or a related field
A minimum of 8+ years of finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior finance role within multinational corporations
Strong expertise in Swiss GAAP, IFRS, EU VAT regulations, transfer pricing, and cross-border financial reporting
Proven experience managing finances across multiple European jurisdictions (Switzerland, Germany, France, Poland, etc.)
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and financial modeling tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in remote teams
Willingness to travel across Europe twice per month
Additional Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CFA, CIMA) are a plus
Experience in tech-driven or startup environments preferred
