Marketing Events Senior Associate

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Events Senior Associate to join the Events team within our Marketing department. In this role, the Events Senior Associate will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, focusing primarily on our industry conferences and tradeshows. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of these events, from concept to completion, while maintaining a high level of operational excellence. Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute various scale events, including industry conferences, tradeshows, ancillary events, and experiential marketing activations.

  • Develop event strategies and outcomes that align with overall marketing goals and objectives.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements and objectives.

  • Manage event budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reconciliation.

  • Source and manage vendors and ensure timely delivery of services.

  • Ownership of event logistics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive deliverables and meet all deadlines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on communication plans to drive awareness and engagement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to measure and evaluate event success using key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide post-event analysis and reports.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event management.

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality management, communications, business, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in event management, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry.

  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful events, including industry conferences & tradeshows.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of operational excellence.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in event management software such as Cvent and other tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce, Monday.com, iCapture and Jifflenow.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Experience in healthcare or technology industry events.

  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to event management.
