Job description

Lead Data Scientist NIKE USA, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Develop predictive and descriptive models to identify new opportunities to bring value through data-driven insights and innovation; collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, deliver work on time against a roadmap, and share their work with non-technical audiences; apply contemporary data science and analytics methods; extract consumer preferences and tendencies from event streams; develop algorithms to target and reward deserving members; predict which consumers and how many are likely to want to purchase upcoming footwear and apparel ; create models and simulations to understand marketplace dynamics; design and analyze experiments to illuminate causality; act as a strategic partner to business team members and lead research and analysis to inform business strategy; build stakeholder-facing tools to support decision-making ; create work to communicate significant insights to a non-technical audience; collaborate with other data scientists, analysts, and range of multi-functional business partners. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from SD, VT, and WV. 

Employer will accept Master’s degree in Business Analytics and Project Management, Data Science, Mathematics or Statistics and two (2) year of experience in the job offered or an analyst-related occupation.  
 
Experience must include the following:
