About the Job
The Market Insights Analyst/Senior Analyst will provide research support across a wide range of Market Insights research engagements. This position will support the execution of multiple ongoing market research engagements, from design to data collection and analysis to final delivery. This role will work collaboratively with other team members, including consultants, the Vice President of Market Insights, field operations, and other internal stakeholders at COEUS.
The ideal candidate will have experience in life sciences and quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. The successful candidate will be collaborative, proactive, analytically minded, and a highly effective communicator (both written and verbal).
Duties/Responsibilities:
Project Delivery
- Develops research design protocols for qualitative (interviews, focus groups, ad boards) and quantitative (surveys) market research engagements
- Designs and programs screeners (Survey Monkey, Qualtrics) to recruit participants
- Designs discussion guides and surveys for primary market research
- Supports primary market research data collection via focus groups, interviews, and surveys with market access decision makers (e.g., payers, health system/hospital leaders, practice leaders)
- Moderates interviews with market access decision makers
- Leads analysis of primary market research data to develop insights for clients on issues related to drug pricing, market access, contracting, value proposition, and other related topics
- Analyzes secondary data on drug coverage, pricing, healthcare policy, and other related topics
- Supports the development of client ready research presentations in PowerPoint and other formats as needed
- Collaborates with other internal partners at COEUS, including strategic consulting, project management, and marketing agency teams
- Leverages appropriate software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom) to ensure work is completed with high efficiency and professionalism
Project Management/Operations
- Supports the development of internal Market Insights team business development processes to help establish best practices in the delivery of high-quality market access insights
Business Development
- Supports development of high-quality primary market research proposals by developing business objectives, research design overviews, case studies of prior research, and corporate capabilities
Other
- Uses and is compliant with required company systems and adheres to best practices and standard operation procedures as trained
- Given the nature of the work, at times be asked to be flexible and to offer extended support outside of normal working hours to meet the business needs. This may also include weekend work
- Performs other duties as assigned
About You
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree a plus) in relevant field – social sciences, business, marketing, healthcare, sciences
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the life sciences industry, market research, or other relevant field (research, healthcare, marketing, academia)
- Knowledge/experience in healthcare strongly preferred
- Training and experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

- Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with demonstrated capabilities developing professional slides in PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Statistical Analysis package (SPSS, Dataiku etc.) a plus
- Experience conducting qualitative research and analysis
