Relationship Manager, Healthcare and Insurance

What does a Relationship Manager do at Fiserv?

As a Relationship Manager working with Healthcare and Insurance clients, you will serve as primary point of contact and a generalist for all Fiserv solutions. You will develop and implement account plans that drive incremental Fiserv revenue through creation of profitable deal constructs and innovative partnerships. You will have New Sales, Renewal and Revenue Growth Quotas along with metric to drive Client Satisfaction.

Working with Healthcare and Insurance clients, you’ll have responsibility for such products and solutions as Acquiring, Surcharging, Biller Product offerings, Output Solutions including Transactional Print and Plastic, Encryption/Tokenization, Debit Routing, Fraud Mitigation, Gift Solutions, and Omnichannel offerings.

What you will do:

  • Identify and build a pipeline of revenue generating opportunities that increase profitability and contribution margin of partnership.
  • Drive partnership retention through contract renegotiations and renewals that yield profitable results for Fiserv. Ensure customer retention by making proactive contacts, diligently following up on issues, and conducting professional contract negotiations.
  • Build and cultivate relationships across multi-level client teams to identify and implement solutions and ultimately grow and expand revenue.
  • Increase Likely to Recommend score through deep strategic partnerships.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota by renewing contract and selling a range of products and services to assigned client portfolio in partnership with product sales SMEs.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of work, education, and military experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a role requiring sales, business development, negotiation.
  • Experience working in the Healthcare or Property & Casualty Insurance space with Providers, Payors and Benefit Administrators or Insurance Agencies, Brokers or Suppliers.
  • Experience managing, growing relationships, and implementing cross-functional strategy to drive revenue growth with large clients.
  • Experience working in the financial/technology industry.
  • Travel domestically 60% of time..

What would be great to have:

  • Knowledge of Fiserv systems and Salesforce or similar eCRM tool.
  • Ability to influence others at multiple levels internally and externally and work collaboratively across teams to lead others to drive results.
  • Experience in sales and negotiating techniques - consultative selling skills with a consistent track record to negotiate, close deals and generate results in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on analyzing metrics to determine client strategy and or approach.
  • Experience in a customer-focus and results-driven role, with ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • MBA.
