The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing space interior and commercial aircraft interiors. This project is for Cabin Interiors. This role requires collaboration with other engineering teams, manufacturing departments, and stakeholders to ensure the creation of efficient, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical designs.

Develop mechanical designs from concept to production, using CATIA!
•Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for mechanical components and assemblies.
•Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to ensure designs meet performance criteria.
•Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate mechanical systems.
•Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select materials and components that meet design requirements and cost constraints.
•Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
•Prepare and present design reviews and progress reports to stakeholders.
•Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
•Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and apply new technologies and methods to improve designs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proficiency in CATIA is a must. Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Experience with prototyping and testing mechanical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience:
•Experience in a specific industry (e.g., automotive interiors, aerospace interiors or rail) may be preferred.
