Who You Are

As an Associate Designer at Code3, you’ll work across a range of clients to shape and execute the visual identity across various digital platforms. You are a visual thinker, storyteller, and maker. You can bring your own ideas to life, as well as collaborate with others to determine the best visual execution of a concept. We're looking for someone who understands the nuance of web and commerce channels (e.g. Amazon) and seamlessly incorporates trends while maintaining design excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and produce high-quality, high volume, on-brand design solutions across a range of clients
  • Quickly learn the nuances of designing for specific channels like commerce/retail, social and more
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute visually stunning and effective digital designs for websites, retailers, social media and other digital channels
  • Work closely with client teams to understand their brand, goals, and design preferences
  • Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Present and articulate design concepts to some clients, while playing a supporting and learning role on other clients, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary
  • Design for performance: you’ll leverage data and reports to optimize creative performance
  • Stay informed about the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively apply them to enhance our design capabilities

Who will love this role:

  • A self-motivated “full-stack” designer with the ability to manage and own projects from concept to finals
  • A curious, strategic/analytical mind that enjoys problem-solving
  • A born collaborator: You constantly seek outside input. You see constructive criticism as a way to give your design super powers.
  • An experimenter at heart: you’re curious about AI and new technologies to drive efficiencies and expand creative boundaries
  • Curiosity. Tinkering. Drive. Interest. Inspiration. What keeps you up at night?

You should have:

  • 1-3 years of design experience
  • Strong portfolio with samples from a variety of work, including ads
  • Strong skill in the fundamentals of form, color, texture and type across digital and print mediums
  • Ability to interpret and apply centralized style guides and patterns to existing and new assets with little to no intervention.
  • Bonus: photo/video and video editing, UX/UI experience or animation

Perks and Benefits:

  • Full medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as generous retirement program
  • Thoughtful parental leave and return program
  • Flexible Time Off, holidays, quarterly Company “Recharge” Days, and holiday closure in December
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities
