About Peckwater Brands
Peckwater Brands is an operating platform that helps existing kitchen operators to make a success of food delivery. We allow our partners to decide their level of engagement: a software package that improves their own performance; a digital food license to produce one of our brands; or a full high-street dark kitchen fit-out if they decide that food delivery is the way to go.
They run the kitchen, we do the rest.
We’re a FoodTech scale-up with over £25mill of funding, and we want to revolutionise food delivery through the creation and franchising of virtual food brands (brands designed for delivery), operated by anyone that runs a commercial kitchen, there’s 70,000 of them in the UK. We offer kitchen operators everything they need to sell our brands through delivery apps whilst continuing to service their core customers. You run the kitchen, we do the rest!
In short, we’re defining the future of the food delivery market! Nobody’s growing as fast as us in the UK, and we’re looking for great people to join us on our journey.
The Pricing Manager is responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies to optimise revenue, market share, and profitability. This role involves analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitive pricing data to make data-driven pricing recommendations. The Pricing Manager will collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure pricing aligns with business objectives.
The Role:
Strategic Pricing, Discounting & Analysis:
Develop, implement, and manage pricing strategies that align with our stack strategy. We have three brands within each category, targeting different consumers, and each needs to be distinctly priced.
Due to the competitive nature of our industry, we need to align closely with market price-points based on quality and average order value.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing trends and opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, recommending adjustments as needed. As we only trade within digital marketplaces, there will be the need to make frequent changes: by month; by time-of-day.
Define and implement discounting and promotional pricing policies across different brands at different price points, according to the target consumer segment.
Understand the role of sponsored placements, and the need to overlay an exposure strategy on top of our pricing/discounting strategy.
Financial & Data Analysis:
Utilize data analytics to model pricing scenarios and forecast revenue impact.
Work with finance teams to establish pricing structures that optimize profitability for us and our partners.
Conduct margin analysis and cost assessments to inform pricing decisions.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop effective pricing models.
Align pricing strategies with product development and business growth initiatives.
Provide training and support to sales teams on pricing policies and strategies.
Collaborate with tech and data teams to enhance pricing tools and systems.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual pricing requirements.
Develop and maintain pricing documentation and reports for internal use.
Track pricing KPIs and generate insights to drive continuous improvement.
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
Experience with pricing software and business intelligence tools.
Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
