As a Territory Sales Manager you will be primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for your territory. You will represent Stryker as a leader in our industry, building and maintaining strong business relationships with all key stakeholders. As part of a highly successful team, you will manage Stryker Centres of Excellence and will be expected to engage with surgeons, hospital management and other healthcare professionals (HCPs), at the highest level.

You will be required to manage existing business with exceptional customer service while identifying new sales opportunities and ultimately converting these into new business. You will be responsible for communicating with customers on a variety of topics including the safe and effective use of Stryker products, new product launches, advancements in technology and educational programs. The product portfolio contains Camera stacks, various clinical scopes, fluorescence imaging, consumables and ProCare Service. This role is covering the North West area of London managing a a hugely exciting region of the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving growth in the territory through active constant customer engagement

  • Customer selection, targeted sales approach

  • Plan and execute on a quarterly and annual business plan, this will be showing management of existing revenue streams and customers, and driving acquisition across the territory generating growth.

  • Control all resources and materials (demo kit)

  • Customer care for physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation

  • Achieving the sales and margin targets for the territory

  • Managing contracts and pricing agreements in the territory, working with RM and PM to ensure this is within the desired company bands

  • Representing Stryker to all levels of HCP, commissioners and managers within territory

  • In-theatre support where required

  • Completing quotes / reporting as and when required

What you need?

  • Degree in sciences, economics or similar, or equivalent experience

  • Successful sales experience within the healthcare market

  • Experience of capital and consumable sales is preferable

  • Experience of customer acquisition

  • Strong relationship building skills, has to be a natural relationship builder

  • Anatomical proficiency

  • Knowledge of a CRM system

  • Computer skills, MS Office

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Valid UK drivers license
