Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing processing of payroll for North America accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update payroll records and employee information.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Demonstrating ownership for assigned processes and projects tasks, prioritizing work independently to deliver to deadlines and quality standards with limited supervision.
  • Analysing information and identify trends to solve discrepancies, conduct audits and quality checks for assigned tasks / reports / peer review quality checks.
  • Taking initiative for reviewing and suggesting improvements for the team’s daily work, processes and procedures.
  • Organizing and leading meetings and calls independently or with very limited supervision.
  • Working on continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of payroll processing experience for North American clients.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations in North America.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
