Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Compliance Pharmacist, Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation & Clinical Programs to join our team at the Central Pharmacy in LaGrange, KY!

Helps to create and implement training programs related to compliance initiatives for specialty pharmacy clinical programs, accreditation standards, regulatory standards, and other best-practice systems.

Works in partnership with Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy leadership to prepare for and successfully navigate specialty pharmacy accreditation surveys.

Supports the development of compliance strategy for specialty pharmacy and provides ongoing monitoring to minimize risk for the health system.

Assists in the monitoring of upcoming changes to regulations and accreditation standards that impact pharmacy practice.

Assists in the development and management of pharmacy quality metrics for performance improvement of teams in accordance with requirements of accrediting bodies.

Supports ongoing review and development of specialty pharmacy patient management program workflows and procedures.

Partners with pharmacy leadership and 340B team to stay up to date with related regulatory changes to maintain compliance.

Assists with onsite specialty pharmacy visits, patient management audits, and investigations to ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory standards, and contractual agreements with third-party payers.

Collaborates with applicable stakeholders to draft, maintain, and implement collaborative care agreements (CCAs) utilized by team members.

Provides critical oversight to internal credentialing processes, ensuring adequate credentialing for all applicable stakeholders.

Collaborates with Specialty leadership, IT support, and other applicable stakeholders to maintain robust and up-to-date medication disease-state group within user software systems.

Maintains a proactive approach to evaluate new pipeline therapies for specialty pharmacy and integrate into review processes for program implementation.

Partners with Ambulatory Pharmacy Compliance Manager to monitor and analyze reporting to validate compliance.

Assists in data collection and process review to gather information used to collaborate with legal counsel and pharmacy leadership.

Provides leadership on committees including but not limited to Pharmacy Credentialing & Privileging Committee, Specialty Pharmacy Patient Management Committee, Specialty Pharmacy Quality Management Committee, and Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation Workgroup.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.

Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license required.

Successful completion of an accredited PGY1 and/or PGY2 pharmacy residency.

2 years specialty pharmacy or pharmacy compliance experience.

Experience in specialty pharmacy accreditation, or related field work preferred.

Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations preferred.

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and other pharmacy related applications preferred.
