About the position:

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, reaching out to potential customers, and setting up meetings for the sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their career in sales, gain experience in prospecting, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calls, and industry events.
  • Outbound Outreach: Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce our company and products/services.
  • Qualify Leads: Engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and determine if they are a good fit for our offerings.
  • Set Up Meetings: Schedule calls or meetings between qualified leads and Account Executives (AEs) or senior sales representatives.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, activities, and progress in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and improve lead quality.
  • Follow-up & Nurturing: Maintain relationships with potential customers who may not be ready to buy yet but could be interested in the future.
  • Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed key performance metrics, including calls per day, emails sent, meetings booked, and pipeline growth.

Requirements

  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (entry-level candidates with strong communication skills are welcome).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with prospects and handle objections effectively.
  • Persistence & Resilience: Comfortable making cold calls and handling rejections professionally.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools is a plus.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and stay motivated in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team success.
  • Curious & Coachable: Open to learning new sales techniques and adapting based on feedback.
