Principal Technical Product Optimization Lead

The Principal Technical Product Optimization Lead is responsible for driving the continuous improvement and optimization of our technical products. This role will mentor and coach members of the team and work collaboratively cross-functionally to enhance product performance, usability and customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking and leadership capabilities ensuring that our products remain competitive and aligned with market demand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product optimization strategy, Application Life Cycle Management, drive additional value with current and new investments
  • Collaborate with senior management to set strategic priorities and drive the product optimization agenda.
  • Identify and assess new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance product performance and competitiveness.

Product Optimization

  • Oversee the end-to-end optimization and tech stack capability rationalization
  • Conduct thorough assessments of product performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing actionable plans to address them.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform optimization efforts, leveraging analytics and customer feedback to drive improvements.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure the effectiveness of optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor and improve technical debt
  • Ensure that all product enhancements meet regulatory, quality, and safety standards.

Stakeholder & Business Partner Management

  • Work closely with product development, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product optimization.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments, ensuring that optimization efforts are aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Drive Quarterly Business Reviews to increase the level of transparency, address blockers proactively, and allow strategic conversations that drive continuous innovation and optimization

Customer Focus

  • Champion a customer-centric approach to product optimization, ensuring that customer needs and preferences are at the forefront of all initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, using it to inform product enhancements and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with customer support teams to address product-related issues and ensure a positive customer experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Master's Degree preferred

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills

  • Strong technical background, with expertise in product development, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with experience using analytics tools to drive decision-making.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for product optimization and quality assurance.

Leadership & Communication

  • Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with a proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop innovative solutions.

Salary/ Wage Range

$56,500.00 - $100,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
