Market Acquisition Specialist - the Netherlands

Location: Netherlands (remote)

About the role:

We're seeking a freelance Market Acquisition Specialist, who will be responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies to drive customer and partner acquisition in the Netherlands market. We offer a fixed term contract for 6 months for an independent service provider, with an approximate workload of 20 hours per week. 

 

As a Market Acquisition Specialis at Xolo, you will:

  • Support the development of a localized content plan to engage target audiences.
  • Support the creation and management of social media content (SoMe) to boost brand awareness and engagement.
  • Provide insights and expertise to optimize paid advertising campaigns for better performance and efficiency.
  • Identify, reach out to, and onboard potential partners and affiliates to grow our network.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Follow-up on affiliate marketing leads and optimize conversion rates.
  • Implement targeted outreach campaigns to generate new leads and partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine marketing and acquisition strategies.
  • Provide insights and reports on campaign performance and engagement.

You are the one we are looking for if you have:

  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, ideally in a freelance or remote role.
  • Strong understanding of the Dutch market, including customer behavior and local digital marketing trends.
  • Hands-on experience with social media marketing, content creation, and managing engagement across platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and outreach skills — you're confident in initiating conversations with potential partners, affiliates, and influencers.
  • Analytical mindset — you're comfortable reviewing performance metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Proactive and self-motivated — you take initiative, manage your time well, and are results-driven.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with tools like Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a plus.
