I-MED Radiology Network would like to extend a warm invitation to you to build your skills and broaden your horizons with our Hybrid Breast Fellowship Program in the
Albury Wodonga region under supervision of Dr Nalini Bhola and Dr Liling Patterson.
I-MED offers six or twelve-month Fellowship programs to set you up for success in your career as a radiologist. These are offered in a βhybridβ format, with a combination of dedicated Fellowship and Consultant time. This gives you the opportunity to work with some of Australia's leading imaging specialists, as well as experience our culture.
Hybrid Fellowship; Advanced Training in Breast Imaging β Albury Wodonga
The position offers full supervision in private and public hospital-based practice including BreastScreen NSW (Albury and Wagga Wagga) with a supportive team of experienced radiologists.
General Radiologist days will be based in various I-MED Radiology Border clinics, so must be willing to travel.
The Albury-based Fellowship incorporates personalised training in comprehensive breast imaging modalities across I-MED's private and public hospital services in the region, including:
- Full diagnostic breast imaging and interventional training in 2D/3D mammography, Contrast enhanced mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, core/vacuum assisted biopsy, marker placements and presurgical localisations.
- Presentation at the fortnightly breast oncology multidisciplinary team meeting administered by Albury Wodonga Health (the first associate member of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre Alliance).
- BreastScreen NSW training in screen reading and assessment (incorporating 3D mammography, ultrasound and intervention including vacuum assisted biopsy)
- Post BreastScreen Assessment multidisciplinary team meeting and BreastScreen Clinical Quality meetings
