Bachelor's or completed engineering degree, Transportation Engineering, Logistics Engineering, knowledge of manufacturing processes, understanding of the voice of the customer, adherence to standards and specifications, use of logistics monitoring systems, knowledge of problem-solving tools, and use of SAP systems are desirable. Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Generic functions and responsibilities

  • Control of plant markings, delivery of materials to the point of use, receipt of materials, and observation of critical processes, ensuring employee safety.
  • Supervision of approximately 40 to 50 hourly employees and 5 team leaders of work groups.
  • Design or continuous improvement of routes for delivery of materials to the point of use and receipt of materials against logistics design.
  • Reduction of inventory turnover to ensure the integrity of plant inventories.
  • Ensure employee safety by respecting industrial vehicle handling standards and seeking continuous improvement through innovation.
