Who We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Analyst IV to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong background in security assessments, incident response, and vulnerability management. This individual will play a key role in strengthening our cybersecurity posture by identifying threats, implementing security solutions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments, including penetration testing, risk evaluations, and vulnerability scans.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans, leading investigations and mitigation efforts.
  • Oversee and improve vulnerability management programs to proactively address security risks.
  • Analyze networks, systems, and applications to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance standards in alignment with industry best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and collaborate with team members to enhance security operations.
  • Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend proactive security measures.
  • Work cross-functionally with IT and business teams to integrate security best practices into daily operations.
  • Conduct forensic investigations and analyze security incidents to improve incident response capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees at all levels.
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports and recommendations for security enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 8-10 years in information security, specializing in security analysis, threat mitigation, and incident response.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
    • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
    • Hands-on experience with security assessment tools, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
    • Proficiency in forensic analysis and incident response methodologies.
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is advantageous.
    • Experience with threat intelligence platforms is beneficial.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP.
  • Cloud Security Experience (Preferred): AWS, Azure, GCP.

Additional Information:

  • Work Location: Fully remote within Wisconsin. Candidates must be Wisconsin residents or willing to relocate before the start date.
  • Interview Process: Conducted via Microsoft Teams.
  • Contract Duration: May 5, 2025 – June 30, 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $53.00 and $58.00. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
