Job Description

For our client - German bank, we are looking for a Business Analyst Data Warehouse m/f/d.

As a Business Analyst, you will form the bridge between the departments of corporate management and IT and proactively help shape the further development of our central data warehouse.

In the "ART BI UST" program, all of the client's dispositive systems of corporate control are successively converted to a common and uniform data supply (data warehouse platform). The first phase focused on setting up the company-wide data warehouse and converting the data supply for risk controlling and regulatory reporting. In the current phase, the fields of action have been expanded to include BI reporting, risk controlling (mainly credit risks), overall bank management, securities, changing our core banking system to SAP.

Your Responsibilities

Analysis and structured documentation of specialist and technical information requirements
Design of data marts and loading routes including complex business functions and business logic in close cooperation with the department and IT
Preparation and implementation of tests in close cooperation with the respective departments and IT
Responsible and independent planning and implementation of work packages

Our Requirements

Project experience, v. a. in agile project implementation according to Scrum
Knowledge of banking in the back office area (credit risk, market price risk, accounting, controlling), securities and SAP modules (SAP-CMS and -CML), ideally also experience in building society
Data quality (BCBS#239)
Sybase Power Designer
HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
SQL
Data modeling (Core Warehouse)
Possibly BI tools such as Power BI or Micro Strategy
Knowledge of German (C1 level)
