Job description

Overview:

Amyx is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst to work remote on our DLA DAI PMO support contract.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to)

  • Provide expertise in financial program analysis and the budgeting and execution processes; analyzes, prepares and drafts budget requests submissions and responds to all financial data calls.
  • Daily utilization of the Enterprise Business System (EBS) to create Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) – DD Form 448 MIPRs from funding requests, track financial transactions, obligate funds, de-obligate funds, and to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Provide expert and authoritative financial guidance/recommendations to senior leadership, conduct and analyze the financial reports, resolve invoice issues, ULOs, or negative payables; provide resolution; and develop analytical decisions that support OSD benchmarks.
  • Present programmatic financial issues and mitigation strategies/recommendations to senior leadership and working-level integrated product team audiences in meetings, presentation, and/or briefings.
  • As the financial lead; provide the yearly Spendplan, submit requirements, complete monthly obligation/expenditure charts, Ad Hoc reports required for the preparation of the budget submission; and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to submit all financial data calls.
  • Work within you team to develop new policies and innovative approaches that improve budgetary requirements documentation and processes for efficiency.

 

Daily tasks include:

  • Lead Budget/Finance support to the program
  • Financial execution: create Funding Documents Requests (FDRs), prepare MIPRs, analyze reports, and reconciliation of financial tracking sheets.
  • Provide contract support, as required
  • Respond to financial data calls from J8, BSO, PEO, and other J-codes

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Management, or other related field
  • 2+ years of budgeting/financial experience
  • DLA budget experience preferred
  • EBS experience preferred
  • Microsoft Excel expertise is a must
  • EBS experience
  • PPBE experience
  • Government funding experience
  • Government contracts experience Microsoft Excel
  • Favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation
  • Experience serving DoD customer preferred
  • Strong customer service decorum
