Job description

Bryghtpath LLC is seeking an experienced Open-Source Intelligence Analyst who will support our internal operations while delivering dedicated services to one of our prominent clients located in Asia. This role is pivotal in monitoring and analyzing worldwide security threats, providing strategic insights, and advising stakeholders to safeguard company assets and ensure employee safety.

About the Role

You'll support our client’s Intelligence & Travel Security Program team, responsible for proactive threat monitoring and strategic advisory services. The team leverages open-source intelligence (OSINT), government reports, and specialized industry resources to evaluate and communicate potential threats, helping stakeholders navigate global uncertainties. Coverage includes geopolitical developments, social instability, regulatory shifts, climate impacts, and physical security concerns. Our efforts enable executives and employees to operate securely and confidently worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on global issues potentially impacting business operations.
  • Provide real-time monitoring and immediate notifications on critical incidents and threat indicators.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed security risk assessments and pre-travel safety briefings for executives.
  • Continuously monitor threats to company assets and employee safety, escalating concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Global Security Operations Center and regional security representatives to assess local risks.
  • Employ advanced OSINT techniques to detect emerging threats and trends.
  • Evaluate incident severity, analyze their potential impact on operations, and inform stakeholders proactively.
  • Support crisis management teams with timely intelligence and monitoring during emergencies.
  • Contribute strategic security insights to major projects and initiatives.
  • Generate regular intelligence briefings, analytical reports, and stakeholder communications.

Note: This position requires regular overlap with the Asia working day (U.S. morning or evening) but does not require overnight shifts. Final candidates for this position will be asked to complete a writing sample prior to being extended an offer.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security intelligence, threat analysis, or geopolitical risk assessment.
  • Strong understanding of geopolitical risks, regional security dynamics, social unrest indicators, and political stability factors.
  • Expertise in OSINT methodologies and analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Korean strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience delivering detailed security reports and stakeholder briefings.
  • Capable of swift decision-making and clear communication in crisis scenarios.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Independent, proactive worker adept at collaborating with diverse, remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Intelligence, Security Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Crisis Management, or a related field.
  • Previous intelligence experience within law enforcement, military, government, or private sector security.
  • Prior role in security intelligence for a multinational organization.
  • Familiarity with specialized OSINT and social media monitoring tools.
  • Korean Fluency
