Financial Analyst ( e-Commerce)


Location: Remote | Contract: 6 months (with potential extension or permanent role)

Our Client – a well-established global brand with over 100 years in the beverage industry, particularly known for its iconic sparkling beverages – is looking for a detail-oriented and financially driven Financial Analyst to support their growing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-Commerce team.

about the role

This is a 6-month contract position, with the potential for extension or a permanent offer based on performance and business needs. You'll be responsible for tracking key financials, analyzing profitability, and managing departmental budgets. The role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and e-commerce for a globally recognized brand.

key responsibilities

Financial Tracking

  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including P&L statements, cost structures, and profitability metrics.

Budget Management

  • Track the DTC department budget, including vendor orders, and flag any variances from the approved budget.

Cost Analysis

  • Evaluate cost trends and identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiencies.

Collaboration with Finance

  • Work closely with the finance team to reconcile data, validate financial accuracy, and ensure consistent reporting.

Reporting

  • Develop clear, actionable financial reports to support business leadership in strategic decision-making.

Forecasting Support

  • Assist in financial forecasting and scenario planning to aid long-term strategy and budgeting.
