Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with experience working with Australian clients and a strong understanding of the Australian financial landscape. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial analysis from both administrative and accounting perspectives and be adept at building complex financial models. These models will be used to assess business performance, support financial reporting, and inform strategic decision-making. This role is critical in supporting our clients with accurate insights, compliance, and forward-looking financial planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial reporting and analysis processes for Australian clients, including administrative and accounting tasks.

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze a business’s financial health, performance trends, and forecasting scenarios.

  • Prepare and submit financial reports in compliance with Australian accounting standards and client expectations.

  • Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders, including projections and scenario planning.

  • Collaborate with client teams and internal departments to ensure all financial processes align with Australian business practices.

  • Monitor and review ongoing financial performance to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

  • Stay updated on changes to Australian financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring all processes remain compliant.



Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, CFA) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in insolvency processes and financial analysis within the Australian market.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian insolvency laws and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen analytical mindset.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
