Job description

JeffreyM is looking for a Social Media Data Analyst to join our team. This role will be at the forefront of analyzing and interpreting complex data sets across various social media platforms and brands. You will be expected to utilize advanced analytics tools to monitor trends, measure campaign performance, and identify opportunities for growth. Your expertise will not only contribute to enhancing our brand’s online presence but also play a pivotal role in shaping our social media strategy. 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, coupled with a passion for social media and its potential to influence audiences. You should have a proven track record of working with large data sets, an ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner, and a knack for spotting patterns that are not immediately obvious. A deep understanding of social media metrics and the latest industry trends is essential.  **This is a contract position planning to start in May '25 and go through June 30, 2025 with a high chance to extend**

Responsibilities 

  • Actively support multiple brands across the Consumer Marketing Organization with data gathering and report building. 
  • Own regular cadence reporting as well as ad hoc reporting requests for designated brands.
  • Curate data from social media platforms and perform analysis on all social platform metrics.
  • Synthesize data into meaningful insights and clearly communicate complex findings.  
  • Work closely cross departmentally and communicate in a clear and relevant way with clients. 
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the intersection of consumer motivations and client business needs.
  • Help clients make informed, smart decisions based on data and insights provided. 
  • Partner with key stakeholders to provide valuable insights from a digital marketing perspective that will improve the brand’s business objectives.  
  • Design, implement and launch innovative data solutions to empower data-driven decisions at scale. 
  • Troubleshoot and identify root cause of operational issues (ex: data quality). 
  • Automate and/or streamline repetitive processes to improve individual and team productivity.  
  • Provide POVs on industry topics, best practices, or new paid social marketing opportunities 

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in research and insights. 
  • 3-5+ years of social media analytics and insights experience. Tech experience a plus.
  • Shown expertise with market leading social media tools, Sprinklr experience preferred. 
  • Experience with Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Teams and AI tools a pus.
  • Multi-tasker that is highly organized and meticulous and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, expert storyteller and communicator. 
  • Comfortable making client presentations and defending data as needed.

Benefits

Compensation Range: $70,000-$80,000/yr

**This pay range is Client-specific for the opening advertised. The identity of the Client will be disclosed if you are selected to move forward in the hiring process.
