About The Role

Role:

  • Location: On Site - Weehawken, New Jersey (hybrid option)
  • Part time (20 hours / week)

Here's an exciting opportunity to use your skills, designing and developing training programs for a major global financial services company!

As a remote Training Program Manager, you'll coordinate Field Leader, Financial Advisor and Team Associate training programs. You'll facilitate training sessions (manage logistics, create content, support trainers, track / report on outcomes) and work closely with external vendor experts to ensure training content meets learning objectives.

Familiarity with financial services and wealth management businesses will be helpful in this role, though they are not required.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with a training needs analysis
  • Manage the logistics for the training sessions and support trainers in the delivery of training sessions
  • Prepare design documents
  • Prepare training budgets
  • Create training content for both in-person and virtual training sessions, including:
    • PowerPoint presentations with speaker notes
    • Worksheets
    • Briefing documents
    • Evaluation forms
    • Show flows
    • Factsheets
    • Quick cards
  • Create training schedules
  • Ensure proper setup and posting of attendance in the learning management system (LMS)
  • Track and create reports on outcomes of all training
  • Maintain training records
  • Work closely with external vendor subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Provide on-site support for both in-person and virtual programs when needed
Work Location

This is an on-site role based in the client's headquarters in Weehawken, New Jersey. (There is the option for this to be a hybrid role, where you'll work alternately from home and in the office.)

At times, you'll travel on location to provide in-person support for training programs.

Pay Transparency

This is a part-time role. Beginning rate ranges from $65 to $70 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Eligibility Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required experience:
    • Five or more years in training and development including knowledge of all areas of the design process
    • Instructional design and facilitation, both in person and virtually
  • Knowledge of Learning Management systems
  • Able to:
    • Work on site at the office in Weehawken, New Jersey, daily (or as scheduled if hybrid)
    • Travel to event locations as needed to provide on-site support
  • Available to work 20 hours per week within the following hours of operation:
    • Monday - Friday (no weekends!)
    • 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern time
    • Flexibility to work early or late hours as needs require
