Position Responsibilities
Overview: We are seeking an organized and creative Internal Events and Communications Specialist to lead the planning and execution of internal events, team-building activities, and communications that keep our teams informed, engaged, and connected. This role will be responsible for developing and managing a calendar of live and virtual events, coordinating interactive team-building initiatives, and executing communications strategies that reinforce our company culture and drive alignment across departments. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating meaningful experiences and ensuring that internal communications are clear, engaging, and consistent.
Responsibilities
- Event Planning and Execution: Plan, organize, and manage internal events (e.g., town halls, all-hands meetings, offsites, holiday parties) and virtual events, ensuring smooth execution and high engagement.
- Team-Building Coordination: Develop and lead team-building initiatives and activities designed to foster collaboration, morale, and team alignment across departments.
- Webinar and Training Session Management: Organize and coordinate internal webinars and training sessions, working closely with team leads and SMEs to deliver content that supports employee development and knowledge sharing.
- Internal Communications: Craft and distribute internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and event invitations, ensuring alignment with the company's culture and strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leaders and department heads to understand their team needs and incorporate them into events and communications.
- Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyze feedback from events and communications, using insights to refine and improve future initiatives.
Qualifications
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, internal communications, or a related role, ideally within a corporate or fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple events or communications projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for creating engaging and informative content.
- Proficiency with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex) and communication tools (e.g., Slack, email marketing platforms).
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Compensation Information
The U.S. salary range for this position is $55,500.00 - $105,000.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
