Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated individual to gain practical experience in software development. The role involves contributing to internal projects, including the continuation of a Proof of Concept for integrating BambooHR and Confluence with Microsoft Entra and using Microsoft Teams bots.

You will help develop a chatbot that provides easy access to company policies, such as PTO and Compensation, interact with AI to process pulled information via API to answer complex questions and produce accurate answers, Collaborate with team members, learn programming languages and tools, and enhance your technical skills while participating in the software development process and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in software development tasks, such as coding, testing, and debugging.
• Learn and apply programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
• Collaborate with team members to contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and learning sessions.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or associate’s degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs.
