Your role...
The M&A Intern will be an integral part of our team, directly contributing to the successful integration of acquired companies. You'll gain invaluable insights into how complex organizations are combined, how synergies are identified and achieved, and how to navigate the challenges of post-merger integration.
All remote positions are based in the United States, and candidates must reside within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration.
In this role you will...
- Support the M&A integration team throughout various phases of the integration process.
- Conduct research and analysis to support integration planning and execution, including market research, competitive analysis, and data gathering.
- Contribute to the development of integration plans, timelines, and tracking tools.
- Manage project timelines, track deliverables, and update project plans.
- Work alongside project leads to integrate new business acquisitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to support business transition efforts.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, ensuring smooth team communication.
- Track and report on integration progress, including monitoring progress against key milestones and identifying potential delays, and follow up with relevant team members.
- Coordinate with various departments for seamless integration.
- Create PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings and leadership discussions.
- Summarize research findings in reports and assist in the preparation of M&A-related documents.
- Work on ad hoc projects related to corporate strategy, financial modeling, or business analysis.
What you need to be successful...
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors Degree or Master's Degree program.
- Strong academic record with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong interest in project management.
- A proactive and eager learner with a strong work ethic.
- Interest in Mergers & Acquisitions, Project Management, Corporate Strategy, or related fields.
Your Compensation…
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $10.88/hr - $23.15/hr. The salary range may vary based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
