The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring the seamless delivery of products and services while fostering strong client relationships. Collaborating closely with Client Partners and Channel Strategists, the Account Manager facilitates day-to-day client interactions, supports team growth, and ensures client satisfaction.

The Account Manager is responsible for managing client accounts across all channels, serving as the primary liaison internally and externally. From onboarding to project execution, they communicate timelines, relay client feedback, and coordinate with Client Experience & Client Delivery teams. Ultimately, they ensure timely asset provision, lead internal and external client meetings, and oversee program execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee a portfolio of nonprofit client accounts, ensuring seamless execution of direct mail, digital, and paid media campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and acting as a strategic partner.
  • Analyze client challenges and provide proactive, effective solutions.
  • Coordinate campaign implementation, scheduling, and monitoring across multiple channels (direct mail expertise preferred).
  • Work closely with Client Partners to develop and track omnichannel marketing plans, ensuring projects meet milestones and specifications.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for team members and oversee the weekly client status report.
  • Review and approve creative assets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand standards.
  • Validate data and creative strategies, escalating issues as needed to meet client objectives.
  • Monitor project schedules, communicate updates, and maintain accurate records in the order management system.
  • Participate in and contribute to client meetings, both virtually and in person.
  • Assist Client Partners with meeting agendas, recaps, and key follow-ups.
  • Leverage internal tools such as Workfront, Salesforce COMS, and MS SharePoint to track progress and manage projects efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Advocate for client needs within the agency, ensuring alignment with goals and expectations.
  • Support the Director of Account Management with process improvement initiatives.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the team.

WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Supervisor, Client Partner Teams, Clients, Channel Strategists, Account Management Team, Project Management, Data & Insights, Creative, Operations & Production teams, and Accounting.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-2 years of management experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of account management or related experience in an agency environment.
  • Experience with nonprofit organizations and/or direct marketing agencies preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

LOCATION: Remote

WORKING HOURS: Our typical business operation hours are 8:00 – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.  

Willingness to travel as needed.

Pay Range expected for the position: $60,000-$70,000 annually.
