EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Manager - Financial Management & Disbursement is responsible for high level oversight and management of team members in addition to contributing to the growth, development, and leadership of the service line. Management of large, multi‐faceted projects and/or multiple projects simultaneously is possible for the position. The position will support new and incremental business development by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new and incremental business with clients and prospects.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:  
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, effectively guiding them to accomplish project goals and objectives while promoting time management, productivity, and a results-oriented culture.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and development for team members across various levels (Staff, Senior, Manager), with a focus on performance management, problem resolution, planning, and effective work distribution.

  • Support business development efforts, including nurturing client relationships, engaging in program-specific positioning, managing teaming arrangements, preparing proposals, delivering presentations, and leading contract negotiations in alignment with established business development strategies.

  • Oversee and manage complex, multi-level workflows and processes in a dynamic environment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

  • Ensure that the scope of work is completed in a timely manner to meet client and stakeholder expectations, while maintaining quality standards, financial integrity, risk management protocols, and adherence to business and policy requirements.

  • Oversee and enhance accounting and program internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and documenting findings. Lead quality control reviews of fund disbursement activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with established protocols, and providing recommendations to strengthen processes while escalating issues as necessary.

  • Prepare detailed deliverables and reports for review by Directors and Partners, highlighting any identified issues, trends, and risks at both the micro and macro levels based on client activities and team management.

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts, fostering collaboration and mutual success.

  • Partner with internal tax professionals to oversee the execution and delivery of tax filings for federal, state, and local authorities, including TIN matching, 1099 processing, and managing monthly accounting procedures as required by projects.

  • Adhere to all professional and firm requirements, including confidentiality standards, time entry procedures, audit quality control documentation, and any other related guidelines and policies.

  • Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrating openness to constructive feedback and continuous professional development.

  • Ensure compliance with required Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours to meet firm and licensing standards

Basic Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or other related field

  • 10+ years of previous accounting or finance experience

  • 7+ years in a management or supervisor role

Preferred/Desired Qualifications: 
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

  • 5+ years in a Consulting and/or Client Support role is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in business and technical environments and within a diverse group of individuals

  • Technically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with software tools including, but not limited to, the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe). 

  • May be required to travel and work from different company and client locations as needed.

120000

and

200000

The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
