EisnerAmper is seeking a Manager - Financial Management & Disbursement, who is responsible for overseeing team members and managing financial operations related to various projects, ensuring efficient fund disbursement, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. This includes handling a diverse range of funds, such as private funds, Qualified Settlement Funds (QSF), and funds allocated by federal, state, and local government entities. The role demands a high level of expertise in financial processes, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong understanding of compliance requirements across multiple funding sources and programs.

Lead and develop a high-performing team, effectively guiding them to accomplish project goals and objectives while promoting time management, productivity, and a results-oriented culture.
Effectively delegate tasks, monitor progress, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure team members meet performance expectations and project deadlines.
Review, document, and report relevant financial transactions.
Oversee multi-level workflows and processes in a dynamic environment.
Compile relevant internal & external reports including oversight, reconciliation, and resolution of related financial reporting issues.
Maintain financial records and relevant reports in accordance with project compliance requirements.
Maintain and review accounting and program internal controls; document and escalate any findings and make recommendations for improvements, as needed.
Responsible for performing quality control review of funds disbursement activities.
Provide direction, training, guidance and oversight to department Staff and Senior team members. Review performance and provides coaching and addresses employee issues and concerns.
Promote continuous growth and skill development within the team while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
Work with senior leadership to properly oversee and manage team member performance and workload.
Provide thought leadership and strategic input for best practices, policies, and procedures related to funds disbursement and management.
Oversee all aspects of disbursements related to project administration, including check testing and printing, check reissues, electronic payment methods, Positive Pay exception resolution, data management with appropriate system of record, unclaimed funds bank reconciliations, and administrative payments.
Partner with internal tax professionals to oversee the execution and delivery of tax filings for federal, state and local authorities, TIN matching, 1099 processing, and monthly accounting procedures, as projects require.
Oversee activities and relationship with external process partners and across internal practice areas.
Adhere to all professional and firm requirements, including confidentiality standards, time entry procedures, audit quality control documentation, and any other related guidelines and policies.
Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrating openness to constructive feedback and continuous professional development.
Ensure compliance with required Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours to meet firm and licensing standards
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or other related field
5+ years of previous accounting or finance experience
Prior supervisory experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Experience in a Consulting and/or Client Support role is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in business and technical environments and within a diverse group of individuals
Technically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with software tools including, but not limited to, the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other software programs such as Adobe, along with technologies for scheduling, travel and expense reporting and timekeeping.
