Are you a passionate Secondary School Maths teacher looking for a flexible, rewarding opportunity to teach students remotely? We are seeking an educator with QTS to deliver engaging online lessons to a UK school from the comfort of your home.
This role involves delivering online (remote) Maths lessons to individual pupils in a UK school, ensuring high-quality education. Teaching will be conducted remotely from within the UK, with medium-term planning provided, so you can focus on engaging and effective lesson delivery. You will also receive training on how to use the technology, ensuring a smooth and interactive learning experience for both you and your students.

This post is regulated so you will need to hold a valid enhanced DBS check (including evidence of checks against the Children’s Barred List).
Contract Details
£35.00 per hour-long lesson
This is a temporary, ad-hoc role with varying hours of work depending on the needs of the school. E.g. You may be asked to work 4 hours one week, 2 hours the next and 6 hours the week after.
Details regarding working days and hours will be confirmed when assignments are given to you. Though you can expect that these will be between Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 16:00.
Requirements
Who will you be?
As the ideal candidate, you will hold a valid enhanced DBS check (including evidence of checks against the Children’s Barred List) and have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Maths in UK Secondary schools. You should be tech-literate, confident in delivering lessons online, and available during the specified lesson times outlined above.
While prior experience teaching online and knowledge of the Maths specification is preferred, the role provides full training to support your transition into virtual teaching.

1. Telephone call with a member of the People Team to find out more about your reasons for applying, your qualifications and experience, and Safer Recruitment (background check) questions. (~30 minutes)
