Imagine Your Impact.

The Product Manager, K-5 Core Literacy will be responsible for driving the product vision, roadmap, and successful implementation of Imagine Learning’s K-5 literacy products. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including curriculum, operations, engineering, and field staff, to design, enhance, and deliver high-quality K-5 curriculum solutions that meet the needs of educators and students. The Product Manager will serve as an internal advocate for Imagine Learning’s K-5 literacy programs, ensuring they address clear market needs, are practical for classroom implementation, and are instructionally effective. In addition, the Product Manager will support financial analysis related to feature prioritization and development and contribute to evaluating revenue goals and product performance.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to Product Manager Director.

 

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $87,986 and $120,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

 

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.

 

Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 15% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Manage designated Core K-5 ELA products through the full product life cycle, working closely with an extended team of results-oriented product managers, curriculum experts, designers, project managers, engineers, professional development experts, customer success experts, marketing and sales experts
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform product direction and decisions, gathering information about district and user needs through internal collaboration and analysis of external research
  • Collaborate closely with internal curriculum experts to understand the instructional foundation of the program and communicate that foundation out to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide data driven insight and feedback from customers, research, and internal teams to drive product enhancements and increase revenue
  • Drive adoption state analysis for “go/no” decisions concerning state adoptions
  • Partner with internal print, production and manufacturing teams to develop print solutions and ensure timely production
  • Partner with Platform product management to ensure that products utilize the technology application appropriately and, when necessary, advocate for features critical to the success of your products
  • Create and collaborate on product management artifacts and process
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing, academic design, and engineer to ensure the product is delivered on time and on budget.

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in education or relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in K-12 education with direct experience in the education technology space; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • A passion for the Imagine Learning Core curriculum mission
  • Deep knowledge of K-5 ELA Core curriculum and Edtech markets, and experience working with print and digital curricula
  • Demonstrated product management experience, including incorporating learning and other data into products and prioritizing roadmaps/backlogs and creating and managing budgets
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, and experience with metrics-driven decision making
  • Enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems and to find innovative solutions for the ed tech market
  • Outstanding project management skills within a variety of different organizations
  • Experience with, and desire to work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Traveling up to 15% required.
