Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to work at Sage in our marketing department and help market Sage’s growing portfolio of Open Access journals! This department is fundamental to driving revenue to support growth targets, testing new insights, and finding the most successful ways of speaking to our target audience.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • A quick learner who can use various marketing systems with training
  • A creative thinker and excellent writer who can produce or update marketing pieces
  • Able to conduct market research or competitor analysis
  • Able to assist staff in the implementation of marketing campaigns and make suggestions for improvement
  • A good communicator who can work with other team members on projects
  • Confident in doing research and writing content for existing social media accounts
  • An effective proofreader to ensure accuracy and maintain quality standards

Qualifications & Education

Required

  • A current student working toward the completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited college or university
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel
  • Excellent organization and time management, and the ability to balance multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred

  • Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, and/or related courses of study
  • Experience conducting online research
  • Social media experience
