  • Serve as the virtual face of the practice, warmly greeting and checking in patients for their remote psychiatric appointments
  • Skillfully prepare patients for their telepsychiatry consultations, ensuring they’re comfortable with the technology and process
  • Efficiently manage and update patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
  • Coordinate seamless appointment scheduling, optimizing the psychiatrist’s time and enhancing patient access to care
  • Process electronic payments and co-pays, providing clear explanations of billing procedures to patients
  • Act as a liaison between patients and the psychiatrist, relaying important information and addressing basic inquiries
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all interactions and data handling
  • Assist in streamlining administrative processes to enhance overall practice efficiency
  • Collaborate with the psychiatrist to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional care delivery

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a medical assistant, preferably in a mental health or telemedicine setting
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and comfort with various telehealth technologies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and professionalism in virtual interactions
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations and unwavering commitment to patient confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to work evening hours as needed to support patient scheduling preferences
