Role Summary: The Pricing Strategy Analyst will be responsible for driving profit through the evaluation and review of price performance, guidelines, and policies. In this role, it is critical to engage with the Pricing Business Partners and platform leaders to identify opportunities to spur profitable growth through various price initiatives leveraging variance analysis, contract management, and process control. This will include analyzing and evaluating price, product, market, and cost data to recommend appropriate price strategies and corrective actions. The successful analyst will easily build rapport and credibility with multiple stakeholders at various levels throughout the organization. The analyst must possess a demonstrated ability to take the initiative to seek out and prioritize potential solutions. This position reports to the Director of Pricing.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Profitable Growth
o In conjunction with pricing business partners and platform stakeholders, identify opportunities for pricing value capture and outline project plans and analytical approaches to define and capture profit uplift
o Assist with segmentation strategy definition and variance-based analysis for key initiatives and specific product strategies
o Provide support in list price setting through analysis of product, market, and competitive conditions
o Support stakeholder adoption of initiative recommendations
- Price Performance
o Create price performance dashboards with automatic data updates to share price KPIs
o Develop realization models to track OI impact from key initiatives
o Support customer contract negotiations through economic, market, competition, and index analysis
o Engage with finance to understand cost elements and trends and provide mitigation strategies to offset profit implications
o Assist with pricing process and governance design and execution

Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Understanding of financial and cost accounting practices
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 15%
- Demonstrated success as a team player who is comfortable with open-ended problems and ambiguity
- Ability to act independently with limited oversight
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive best practices across matrixed environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to navigate all levels within the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as advanced analytical tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Solicit the involvement of others to build a sense of ownership and inclusion
- Confidence to act quickly and decisively when needed
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 8-10 years relevant experience
