Job Description Summary:

Business Analysts are the glue that keeps our stakeholders and technical teams aligned by understanding what our stakeholders want and need, and then in turn translating those requirements into work and system enhancements / improvements. The Business Analyst will assist in system and business process analysis, design, configuration, and support.

The Business Analyst – Salesforce (CPQ & CLM) is an integral part of the Business Applications team. within Rocket IT. In partnership with the other members of the Salesforce team and business stakeholders, the Business Analyst – Salesforce (CPQ & CLM) will assist with system and business process analysis, design, configuration, and support for the Salesforce Platform, with a primary focus on Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and related Quote-to-Cash feature sets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the leading participant in studying and documenting business processes related to Quote-to-Cash for the Rocket Salesforce team, across the following domains: 

  • Salesforce CRM 

  • Salesforce CPQ (and related) 

  • DocuSign CLM 

  • Play a leading role in gathering requirements for Salesforce development related to Customer Relationship Management (CRM), CPQ, CLM, and other Salesforce ecosystem activities. 

  • Actively participate in the Salesforce CRM Scrum process, including Program Increment Planning, user story creation/refinement/estimation, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives. 

  • Provide input on the design for system enhancements and new features. 

  • Assist with the implementation of new functionality. 

  • Help perform system testing. 

  • Assist with documenting system capabilities and processes. 

  • Team-oriented, collaborative, accountable, and dependable. 

Required Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of experience in systems/business analysis, with a minimum of 2 years providing business analysis for the Salesforce Platform 

  • Deep experience documenting and analyzing business processes, procedures, and policies on complex projects. 

  • Ability to act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams and resources. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Salesforce certification (Salesforce CPQ, Administrator, Platform App Builder, and/or Developer, etc.) (Preferred)
