About The Opportunity
Provectus Physiotherapy are currently seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our growing mobile physiotherapy team, based in Vancouver, BC (remote).
Your Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Travel to patients’ homes across the Greater Vancouver Area to provide one-on-one physiotherapy treatments
Assess, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for elderly patients dealing with mobility issues, post-surgical recovery, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, respiratory conditions, and chronic pain management
Implement exercise-based therapy, including strengthening, range-of-motion exercises, and functional mobility training
Educate patients and caregivers on fall prevention, injury prevention, home safety modifications, and personalized rehabilitation exercises
Coordinate with other healthcare providers (e.g., physicians, kinesiologists, occupational therapists, nurses, case managers, and family caregivers) to ensure integrated patient care
Utilize computerized record-keeping for efficient and effective documentation of patient progress
Provide empathetic patient centred and family centred care, building strong connections with elderly clients and their families
About You
To qualify, you are a Licensed & Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of BC (CPTBC), and you have a valid BC driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (mandatory for home visits).
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
Experience collaborating with multiple healthcare stakeholders to ensure comprehensive patient care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for empowering elderly patients
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while being part of a collaborative healthcare team
Comfortable carrying necessary physiotherapy equipment into patients’ homes
Empathetic, patient, and skilled at working with complex cases
Exceptional time-management skills
