Job description

Knife Drop Studios, the production company behind chef and social media star Nick DiGiovanni, is looking to hire a full-time Longform Video Editor to craft engaging, high-quality long-form content for Nick’s YouTube channel.


Location: This role is fully remote, but there's a possibility for hybrid work if the candidate is located in the Boston area.


Who we’re looking for


We are seeking a skilled, creative, and detail-oriented Longform Video Editor with a proven track record of editing compelling longform content for YouTube. This role requires strong storytelling ability, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of digital content trends to create videos that captivate millions of viewers.

Who you’ll work with


As a Longform Video Editor, you will directly support Nick DiGiovanni and his greater editing team. You will also work closely with videographers, producers and other stakeholders involved in our videos.


What you’ll bring to the team


  • 3+ years of experience in video editing on a professional level
  • Expertise with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
  • Deep understanding of creating engaging long-form content, including narrative structure, pacing, and audio & visual storytelling
  • Strong skills in sound design and music selection to elevate emotional impact and viewer engagement
  • Top-notch organizational skills, a strong ability to multitask, and an eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and bring new creative ideas to the table
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in fields related to film studies or video production
