Job description

Overview:

We are looking for a Motion Graphics / Video Designer to design and create engaging motion graphics, animations, and video content that elevate our brand, drive audience engagement, and support our marketing and advertising initiatives. You will collaborate with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to produce high-quality visuals for various platforms, including but not limited to advertising, product marketing, social media, websites, and digital display boards. This position is part of the marketing team and our company HQ is based in San Francisco, but can be based anywhere in the US or Canada. This is a contractor position to start and will average 20-30 hours per month.

Target pay rate = $40 - $70 per hour based on experience.

Role:

You will work closely with the marketing and product team to do the following:

  • Create engaging videos and animated content for use on our website, social platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram), and other digital channels.
  • Create design concepts, style frames, storyboards, animations, and other elements required for each video
  • Manage all phases of creative production including: ideation, designing / editing / animating, iterating, and final production
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proactively pitch new graphics and ideas to improve creative briefs
  • Utilize graphic design skills to create / source images required for videos and support other marketing projects as required

Skill Requirements:

  • Highly proficient in video creation / editing software - you can decide which software you want to use
  • Experience creating videos for B2B SaaS products
  • Experience creating a wide range of video types - explainer, product demo, how to, marketing, support, interview, etc.
  • Experience creating a wide range of video styles - animated, whiteboard, live action, screen share, etc.
  • Experience creating videos for use on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc), digital ads, website, and email
  • Extensive portfolio of B2B video samples
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills with high attention to detail
