Responsibilities:
Actively seek out and establish relationships with new lending partners in Australia through inbound/outbound calling, identifying potential partners, initiating contact, and negotiating partnership agreements.
Source leads and engage in broker partnerships to expand the company's network.
Oversee and maintain relationships with our existing network of partners, with the goal of expanding to a larger network.
Facilitate the setup of referral agreements and assist in potential system integrations (this role requires a non-technical approach but demands an understanding of the basic technical aspects of system integration).
Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, managing all aspects of communication, including regular updates, resolving issues, and booking video meetings with brokers through proactive appointment setting.
Engage in mortgage broking activities as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inbound/outbound calling, appointment setting, finance, business development, mortgage broking, or a related field.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong personality for building and maintaining long-lasting relationships.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships
Ability to source leads and engage in broker partnerships.
Proven experience in frontline appointment setting and cold calling, with a willingness to make calls actively and set appointments.
Willingness and ability to work according to Sydney time zone.
A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Profile:
We are seeking a frontline appointment setter with a proven track record in inbound/outbound calling and appointment setting, rather than a manager-level profile.
The ideal candidate is seasoned in making calls, proactive in engaging with potential partners, and thrives in a high-volume calling environment.
Previous hires with manager-level experience have struggled with low productivity due to reluctance to take on calling responsibilities. Therefore, we prioritize candidates who are hands-on and enthusiastic about making calls to drive results.
